Inter company postings

Hi Friends,

 

I have a query regarding about inter company postings.

 

I have 2 company codes 1.1100 2.1300

 

In 1100 company code customer is 1300 and in  CMR also maintained 1300 trading partner  and in 1300 company code vendor is 1100 and VMR also  tp is 1100. Now invoice posted in 1100 c.code

 

Entry in 1100:  XXX vendor a/c dr  p.key 31

                     to 1300(customer) cr  p.key 01

 

Entry in 1300: Expenses a/c dr   40

                         to 1100 a/c(vendor) cr 31

 

Now problem is i need check all documents are posted or not in 1300 which is posted in 1100. i verified through reference and document header but not able to trace all documents. Can you please suggested on this. How to check all.

PCA Totals in SAP Simple Finance

Hi,

 

Reading all latest notes (2119188, 1946054 .. etc)  I can see that if we migrate from Classic General Ledger it
is transformed into a basic implementation of New General Ledger with profit center accounting since document splitting still not supported.

I assume it means GLPCA table is still available.

 

I can see in several places indication about the totals and index tables not
available any longer with simple finance but nothing is mention about PCA total table GLPCT.

 

Appreciate answers for my questions below:

 

    1)  Is my assumption about GLPCA correct and it is still available with simple finance

 

    2)  What Happen to GLPCT ?  Is it still available ?

AA765 Processing terminated due to RFC error

Change standard price with 543 Mvt

Dear Experts,

 

I'm new in Finance and I have a simple question which I didn't find the solution.

 

I know we change material standard price via MR21 but sometimes using other transactions for example in case of PGI using Mvt: 543 the standard price changed automatically.

 

Here is the case:

- The material standard price is 18,527

 

- we post a GI 543

sFIN-IBP for Finance 2.0 - Not able to view Actuals data using HANA Studio!

Dear All,

 

Using HANA Studio, I would like to see the Actuals data, which are residing in the model - sap.erp.sfin.co.pl.COPA_DOC. However, when checked the data for the model - sap.erp.sfin.co.pl.COPA_DOC(I believe this is where, the Actuals are stored), it was empty. How can I view the Actuals data stored in the model - sap.erp.sfin.co.pl.COPA_DOC? Or, am I missing anything here to view the Actuals data?

 

To put the question differently, if I want to see the Actuals data stored in the HANA views, how can I see that using HANA Studio?

 

Embedded screen shot(below) shows blank data screen at sap.erp.sfin.co.pl.COPA_DOC.

VF46-Reconcilation report- Wrongly triggerred

Hi Friends,

 

While i run the t code VF46, I have selected the collective button instead the Deffered (DEF.R/C) values moved to unbilled Rec/cost (unb.R/CA column)

with negative,But its happened same in deffered column.


I have confirmed the configuration and there is no impact to this report. i hope this issue due to version updation.


Kindly provide the relevant SAP Note number.

Planning functions viz. Spread, Trend and Weight functions(of 10.1 classic) available in IBP for Finance 2.0?

Dear All,

 

In BPC 10.1 classic/standard, we have planning functions - Spread, Trend and Weight. Similarly, in IBP for Finance 2.0, which function/API is used to accomplish the same? Since Spread, Trend and Weight are planning related functions, my understanding is... these functions should be available in IBP for Finance as well(since this is primarily meant for planning).

 

Do we have such functions(Spread, Trend and Weight) in IBP for Finance?

 

If yes, is there any material/document on that?

 

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

How month end processes are impacted in Simple finance

Hi,

 

I have read that with Simple finance you do not have to wait for month end to generate the financial reports that management requires.

 

So, how can the system provide information during the month if the Production orders, maintenance orders, AUCs are settled at the end of the period only?

 

Please throw some light on how this works.

Additional ledger constrain in New asset accounting for S4 HANA

Hi Friend,

 

My company is in Hana on cloud and we are planning to go for S/4 HANA Finance ( Simple finance) next year July. For S/4 Hana Finance we have to move to new asset accounting from classic asset accounting. According we have decided to move with the ledger approach with new asset accounting.

My client is a UK based company with legal entities spread across the countries.

For legal reporting we follow the April to March reporting period for all company codes but for local reporting we have to abide by country specific tax requirement. For example countries Russia and Mexico the leading ledger(0L)  is maintained in April to March fiscal year but for local report Jan to December fiscal year is maintained.

 

Hence at the time of migration of Chart of depreciation ( one of the step post installation of Simple finance alias SFin 1503 alias S/4 Hana Finance) , system gives a error message start and end end of the leading and non leading ledger is not same. As with new asset accounting there will be real time posting in both the books (i.e leading and non leading ledger) . SAP has recently introduced a note with more clarity on the topic. The SLO service mentioned in the note is a work around to abide by the issue of asset accounting rather can completely solving.

Controlling Document no with A00000** Series in simple Finance

we are implementing the simple finance with HANA, while testing we noticed that the controlling documents are updating with the A0000* series but we have not created any number range interval with the above. Could you please any help me and how can we check the number range interval in the system.

Costing based CO-PA after migrate to SFIN

BPC and 'retraction' using SAP delivered IBP virtual providers

I am about to implement a planning solution with BPC 10.1 for NW on an embedded BI. I have done plenty of implementations with BPS/IP and know a fair bit about retraction with those technologies.

Since SAP delivers the IBP content I figured I ought to try using it instead of inventing the wheel anew.


After having captured the planning data within BPC business users now expect to see it in the ERP tables.

 

Hence, I am trying the following set-up using the SAP delivered virtual provider /ERP/COOM_V06 as target and my own cube as source containing the plan data:

In the FOX the data is written to the virtual provider (at this point only dummy data):

The trace claims that one record was generated (which is expected):

By clicking 'Save Planning Buffer' the data is saved to the DB:

So WHERE is the data saved to???

 

In the definition of the virtual provider it is not possible to find what table (and client) the data is written to. It invokes CL_FCOM_IP_IPROV_WRITABLE, but debugging it does not really help.


Are stored procedures invoked? If yes, where is it possible to see which ones?

 

SAP has delivered all these IBP functionalities that could serve as templates for own implementations, but it seems as if there is a distinct lack of documentation on how they can be used.

Aggregate value through on the fly calculation from BSEG table.

Hi Experts,

 

I am a new bird in SAP SFIN. I am going through different SFIN blog posts and documents and getting confused on some of the points. It would be really thankful to you if you would clear my below doubts.

 

How the system will calculate the aggregate values on the fly in BSEG table as the materialized aggregate tables have been already obsoleted in SAP SFIN?

 

Materialized view (BSIS,BSAS,BSIK,BSAK etc.) and Materialized aggregate(GLT0,FAGLFLEXT etc.) are now obsolete in SFIN but still exist with compatibility view. what does it mean?

Error in FBZP - Bank determination (Simple Finance)

Hi,

I have new SAP Simple finance system set up currently ongoing and i have faced issue on bank determination configuration step in FBZP.

House banks have been created in FI12_HBANK and house bank accounts are not done under NWBC (special role needed). After it is done and connectivity path is also done (linking bank account to house bank) i can see these entries in T012K (house bank accounts table).

Unfrotunately, when i'm trying to set it up in bank determination part of FBZP (tab 'Bank accounts') i have error stating 'Entry XXX XXXX XXXX does not exist in T012K'.

Looks like a bug but i was unable to find relevant SAP Note, anyone experienced the same ?


New Asset Accounting in SAP Simple Finance 2.0

Hi All,

 

We have installed Simple Finance 2.0 in our system. I have configured New Asset Accounting and posted transactions related to acquisition and depreciation.

 

SAP mentions that there are 5 asset  tables ANEA, ANEP, ANEK,ANLC and ANLP which will not get updated post SFIN 2.0 installation on posting of asset transactions.

 

Views for these 3 tables are  FAAV_ANEA,FAAV_ANEP, FAAV_ANEK,FAAV_ANLC,FAAV_ANLP and SAP has mentioned that data related to asset transactions will be available in these view tables instead of the original asset tables.

 

However, I have noticed that out of these 5 tables, 3 tables ANEK, ANLC and ANLP are still getting updated and the number of records in these 3 asset tables and the corresponding view tables are same.I believe this is incorrect as there should not be any data in these 3 asset tables .

 

This is working fine for tables ANEA and ANEP where data does not exist in the tables but can be viewed through corresponding view tables FAAV_ANEA and FAAV_ANEP.

 

ACDOCA gets updated with all the required data and updation of data in these 3 tables is duplication of records.

 

Have I missed out any configuration ? Any suggestion ? Is there any document available which gives information about updation of data in these tables ?

Error message “FAGL_LEDGER_CUST023”(Define a leading ledger)

We use simple finance 2.0 after migrated from ECC 6.0 with new G/L..

 

After we activated Funds Management(PSM-FM) to implement BCS, we met error message “FAGL_LEDGER_CUST023”(Define a leading ledger) when we generated FI document.

 

In case of deactivating Funds Management(PSM-FM) , we didn't meet the error message.

 

According to business requirement, we should use BCS.

 

How can I fix it?

What version of S/4HANA Simple Finance without Simple Logistics (SLOG)

Hi,

 

 

i don't know if this is the right place for this question, but here goes:

 

 

we have a SAP ECC 6.07 on netweaver 7.4 system that runs on HANA.(So this is Business Suite power by HANA)

The customer wants the system be upgraded / updated to S/4HANA Simple Finance on the latest level ,but without Simple Logistics because of a current configuration with SRM.

 

As far as I see it , it is not possible to go to S/4HANA SFin 1503 SP03 (1511) without Simple Logistics , but it is not clear if this is really the case.

I read through several notes, guides and faqs but what I assume now is that simple logistics (it isn't called that anymore according to some notes) is part of S/4HANA Core and / or Enterprise Management. And with that when you implement Simple Finance you get Simple Logistics with it in version 1511.

But.... I don't know if that is correct.

 

 

So the options I see now for our system is the following:

 

Implement 1503- SP02 (1508) , which stays on netweaver 7.4.
You don't have Slog and you can implement Simple Finance 1503.

On the downside : We don't have the latest version , we don't have the 1511 apps (HANA and Fiori) which the customer wants to have.

 

 

 

Implement 1503 - SP03 (1511) , which needs netweaver 7.5.
You can implement the latest Sfin 1503(1511) version ,BUT you also get Slog ... So you have the latest version and the latest 1511 apps, but you also have Slog which makes the SRM config unworkable.

 

 

Both are not what the customer demands.

 

Can someone point us in the right direction on this matter.

 

(We already asked our national SAP office,but they can't seem to give us a clear answer.... so far as simple goes..)

How to perform manuel entry using alternative chart of account?

Hi,

 

I'm in the situation where I have a global chart of account as operational COA for all the company codes. But some of those companies need to perform accounting documents direct entry in FI, using their own alternative COA (mapped with the global one at the account level).

 

How can I replace the operational COA by the alternative COA in the FI entry screens (example: FB01), for a defined company code?

Bank Account Management Lite

Hi,

Does anyone know why house bank maintenance was separated from house bank account. The only reason i could think of is to encourage all to use NWBC and new user interfaces provided by SAP etc. Anyway, it is strange that we cannot do it under SAP GUI system but only in NWBC.

Also, i have strange situation that having all needed roles to BAM and BAM lite i cannot operate by starting WDY_APPLICATION - Manage Bank accounts directly but i need to always start SAP Business Client 6.0 and go to BAM from there. If i start WDY_APPLICATION - Manage Bank accounts from SAP Easy Access menu it is opened and i see all house banks etc. but when i choose 'New bank account' nothing is happening. If i do the same from SAP NWBC then new page is opened to create bank account ... is there some SICF service still not activated ?
